How To

Please note — All buylists are subject to final approval

 

Step 1- Login or Create an Account

 

  • To use our buylist system you must have an account with our store so that we can keep accurate records and communicate any changes to the buylist.

Step 2- Build your Buylist using our online buylist

 

  • Our buy price is based on the value of the card, the condition, and our current stock levels. 

    • Note: We do not take most commons and uncommons that are not near mint in condition

  • Ensure to check proper sets and treatments. 

  • Please ensure your cards are in the same order as they were submitted and keep duplicates together or your buy list WILL be rejected.

 

Notes on Payment:

  • Venmo or Paypal (Cash): 50% card valuation

  • Store Credit (for online or in store): 70% card valuation

  • Our system CANNOT exchange between Cash and Credit payout after submission. Ensure that the right payout method has been selected before submitting your buylist

 

Step 3- Submit your Buy Order

  • After adding your cards, verifying conditions and treatments, and selecting cash or credit, hit the submit button to send in your buylist. 

Step 4- Get your cards to Game Grid!

  • If you are local, bring your buylist to the store during operating hours within the next 3 business days. After 3 days of the buylist’s submission, our buy prices are no longer guaranteed

    • Note: Ensure that all of your cards are unsleeved and in the order you submitted your buylist when you deliver them. 

 

Step 5- Grading

  • After the buylist has been dropped off, please allow 5-7 business days for grading to be completed

    • Note: Time of Buylist grading can be affected by the number of buylists in queue and major holiday or event times. It is possible for the wait time to exceed 7 business days.  
    • We CANNOT process buylists day of submission

  • During grading, we will check the conditions of your cards— adjusting the price based on condition— and confirm our offer for your buylist. 

    • Note: If there is more than a 10% difference between the original quote and the final offer after grading, we will send an email listing the changes in the buylist and explaining why.

Step 6- Get paid!

  • Cash Payout: Only Venmo and Paypal are currently available for “Cash” payout

    • Account information will be confirmed prior to sending Cash payouts
    • Note: Cash takes significantly longer due to limits

  • Store Credit Payout: Credit is automatically applied to your account 

  • Payment will be applied once grading is completed, changes over 10% have been confirmed, and information for cash (if applicable) has been confirmed.

    • Note: Delays in responses to Buylist changes over 10% or preferred method information confirmation will delay the final processing of Credit or Cash. 


Additional Information

  1. Card Rejections and Pricing Changes

    1. Game Grid reserves the right to reject cards or change offer prices for any reason: poor quality or condition, mistakes in buylist algorithm, overabundance of card in inventory, etc. 

    2. Changes of 10% or more will be confirmed before final processing

    3. Any rejected cards must be picked up within 30 days. Failure to do so forfeits ownership of cards and they will be discarded/added to our bulk. 

  2. Fake/Counterfeit Cards

    1. If any of your cards are found to be Counterfeit/Fake, they will be marked as fake and will not be returned.
