It's not only a new Story, but also a completely new type of gameplay, focused on prediction and cross-plotting, capturing the feeling of pursuit and anxiety. The semi-cooperative game mode allows players to stand on two sides of the conflict - one of you will take on the role of Eredin himself, commanding a group of wraith-like Wild Hunt Generals, while the other will lead Ciri and her companions. The solo mode is also included, in which you will try to face the Wild Hunt alone!
Introduces a new playable character for use only in this variant - Eredin, representing the Wild Hunt.
Wild Hunt is not just another character. It was specifically designed for this expansion and directing it gives you a whole new experience and range of decisions in gameplay. Both the components and mechanics emphasize the scale of the threat posed by these wraiths of Aen Elle.
This expansion also includes a playmat along with 4 miniatures of the Generals - Eredin, Nithral, Caranthir, and Imlerith! Each of these Generals is assigned to one of four colors of cards. After playing the corresponding colors, Wild Hunt moves the Generals forward on the track. By doing so, he gains experience and victory points, but most importantly, he gains access to special Ability cards for Generals, through which he can hinder the game for his opponents.
The other players will cooperate, side by side facing a powerful opponent! Scoring Victory Points collectively, they will do their best to prevent Ciri's abduction.
In addition to earning Victory Points together, players also cooperate in the battle against the Generals - by playing cards of the appropriate color, they can weaken the Generals, moving them back on the track. They receive General Weakness cards for doing so, which they can use to increase their chances in the competition.
There are also entirely new Side Quests for Wild Hunt and cooperating players.
The Wild Hunt expansion also offers solo gameplay - you will take on the role of Ciri or one of her companions to face the Wild Hunt governed by Automa. For the purposes of solo gameplay, we have prepared a special Hunt board, as well as 4 bonus cards, replacing the Generals' Weakness cards. Playing in solo mode also requires the use of the 4 new Generals cards effects
